Cathie Reid AM

Co-Founder, Icon Group, Epic Pharmacy

A Pharmacist by background, Cathie co-founded the Epic Pharmacy Group and acted as Managing Partner right through until the recently announced sale of her pharmacy interests. In 2012 Cathie co-founded Australia’s largest dedicated cancer care provider, the Icon Group, and served as Digital Advisor to the board after the Group’s 2017 acquisition of the Epic Digital business she had established in 2015.

Cathie has always believed in the role digital solutions can play in exceptional healthcare delivery, and the platform and tools developed by Epic Digital have been widely deployed across the Icon Group business units to deliver both patient care and productivity outcomes.

Her long term activity in the healthcare and technology sectors has provided their family office Arc31 with insights and access to a wide range of global investment opportunities as the ever expanding intersection between these two sectors continues to deliver opportunities.

She is the Chair of AUCloud, the Canberra based sovereign cloud infrastructure as a service provider, and a Director of the Brisbane Lions Australian Rules Football club.

Cathie was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia in 2019 for services to healthcare and philanthropy, inducted into the Australian Businesswomen’s Hall of Fame, named one of the Top 100 Women of Influence by the Australian Financial Review, won a National Telstra Business Women’s Award in 2011, and was recognised by Monash University with a Distinguished Alumni Award for Professional Achievement.
