A/Prof Jeremy Lim (Fulbright 2002/3) is CEO & co-founder of AMILI, the region’s first gut microbiome company centered in Singapore serving the region.
A medical doctor dually trained in surgery and public health, Jeremy was most recently partner in Oliver Wyman's Health and Life Sciences practice in Asia which he founded in 2013. He contributes back to his alma mater as Director of LIGHT, the global health institute for the NUS School of Public Health and teaches global health systems reforms and digital health. He also writes regularly for both the scientific and popular media and in 2013 authored "Myth or Magic: The Singapore Healthcare System," a book on the Singapore health system and the lessons for health reform efforts in other countries.
Jeremy is active in the community- He chairs the steering committee of NIHA (NUS Initiative to Improve Health in Asia), an initiative to strengthen health policy research and education in Asia; sits on the Advisory Council Behavioural Sciences Institute, Singapore Management University, Next Age Institute NUS, Centre for Health Informatics NUS; and served as President of the Fulbright Association (Singapore). Jeremy is convener for the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health Singapore alumni.
Jeremy volunteers in a number of non-government organizations including Dover Park Hospice (Governing Council member), HealthServe (board member), Tampines Meridian Junior College (College Advisory Committee chair). He consults regularly for international organisations such as the WHO and World Bank and also advises a number of digital health companies globally.
