Jonathan is the Founder and CEO of Halodoc. Having founded the business in 2016, Jonathan has grown Halodoc into Indonesia’s leading end-to-end healthtech ecosystem with over 17 million monthly active users. The platform brings together over 20,000 general practitioners and specialists offering consultations to users, as well as partnerships with over 1,200 pharmacies nationwide to improve medical and healthcare access for the vast majority of Indonesians.
Halodoc has secured support and funding from leading domestic and international strategic and financial investors including Go-Jek (Indonesia’s leading ride-hailing platform), Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Allianz X, Prudential Life Insurance, UOB Ventures and Singtel Innov8, amongst others.
In 2018, Halodoc was named Indonesia’s Most Innovative Company by Forbes and received the Galen Growth Most Innovative Healthcare Startup award in recognition of its achievements.
Prior to founding Halodoc he was Managing Director at the Mensa Group, one of Indonesia’s largest pharmaceutical manufacturers and distributors, where he oversaw the Raw Materials Business Unit and Director of Business Development.
Jonathan has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Curtin University in Australia and attended the Future Global Leaders Program at Cambridge University, UK. He is also President of the Raw Materials Committee of the Indonesia Pharmaceutical Association.
